Hi! I’m Carissa! I’m a late twenty-something, wife of 8 years, mother of 3. This year is full of changes as Adrianna, our spirit filled 3 year old goes to preschool this fall, and my 2 boys, Zander(7) and Kaedan(6) go to both 1st and 2nd grade, too! Think I might have too much free time on my hands? Think again, I’m due August 6th with our 2nd daughter, our 4th child.

I work part time for All Fired Up! which is a paint your own pottery shop. It’s my best friend’s business that God has called her to own and operate. I love being a part of her mission field!

Stampin’ Up! is a wonderful company that gets my heart rate going every time I open the catalog. 🙂 I am a “demonstrator”–but more so as a hobbyist. If you don’t have a demonstrator to order from, I would be more than delighted! I have aspirations to help support my family through stampin’ up, but admittedly, it’s one step at a time and for now–it’s just a great hobby to spend some of my free time on. (although sometimes “free” time is more a dream than reality!! LOL)

I hope to take this blog to another level beyond just crafts but also sharing my heart and life.

I am a card-maker foremost, but absolutely LOVE to scrapbook as well, I just find it harder since it’s a bit more time consuming. I’ll leave you with a verse, which really does exemplify why cardmaking and scrapbooking is a wonderful hobby–it’s not just the lovely card, it’s the encouragement and love you get to share inside. Scrapbooking is a great way to remember, to cherish moments in life… what a great encouragement this verse is to me!
